Nature of the Service
The “Competent Person Service” (“CPS”) is offered by Welsby Slater (“we”, “us”, “our”) as a complimentary, non‑contractual bonus to our annual subscription package. CPS is provided free of charge and is not automatically included within the scope of your paid Welsby Slater annual subscription.

Discretionary Provision and Termination
CPS is provided at our sole discretion and for as long as is reasonably practicable. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or terminate CPS in whole or in part at any time, without notice, penalty or obligation to provide a refund or any other compensation to our subscribing members.

No Warranty or Guarantee
CPS is supplied on an “as‑is” and “as‑available” basis. We make no representations or warranties, express or implied, concerning the availability, accuracy, completeness or suitability of CPS for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, including without limitation any implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non‑infringement.

Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Welsby Slater, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees or agents be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or any other losses or damages whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the provision or use of CPS, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Statutory Rights
Nothing in this disclaimer shall affect your statutory rights as a consumer under English law.

Governing Law
This disclaimer and any disputes arising out of or relating to CPS shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
